I wrote this down as soon as I got home. I don’t know if it’s connected to what happened in the store, but it didn’t feel… normal.
I keep thinking I saw someone who looked like me. Not exactly, but close enough that my brain didn’t know what to do with it.
I was shopping in the first level of my local ikea, I was just looking for some lighttbulbs. I had already picked up the clock and speaker I needed for my new apartment, since my parents gave me some of their old furniture. I was about to turn to go find some curtains, when the wall behind me looked different. It reminded me of those old youtube webseries that were I turned back to the lightbulbs and the shelf looked the same as the wall behind me. The same creepy old mold. I noticed instead of the variety I had just saw, they were all the same. The photo on the packages varied slightly, with the photo have same inconsistensies to the text looking off, or even letters missing.I realized no one was in the store with me anymore when I heard something in my left ear, and when I turned, the store was back to normal. Like i had just experienced some sort of software glitch in real life. I looked to the original creepy wall, and it just held a diagram of different string lights. Nothing like I'd seen just a few seconds ago? Has anybody else experienced this?
